Seienchin Kata - Step by Step

# Explanation
1. On the command HAJIME/ICHI move Begin the Kata in FUDO DACHI. Move into MUSUBI DACHI and MOKUSO on the command MOKUSO. On the second command Seienchin, open eyes, move into the YOI DACHI position with IBUKI. On the command HAJIME/ICHI move the right foot forward and turn at 45° KIBA DACHI, simultaneously both open both hands on your own shoulder heights, wrapped them around an imaginaring ball, and bring it slowly under water at your own belt level (SEIKA TANDEN).
2. Scoope and slowly raise both open hands to the front of your own face, bringing both elbows together (close the armpit), and then slowly drop them (with closed hands) towards both sides.
3. Perform a right KAKE UKE and look to the right. Hook the wrist of your opponent and, while pulling all the way in, strike with a left NUKITE (1).
4. Move left foot 90° to KIBA DACHI, simultaneously both open both hands on your own shoulder heights, wrapped them around an imaginaring ball, and bring it slowly under water at your own belt level.
5. Scoope and slowly raise both open hands to the front of your own face, bringing both elbows together (close the armpit), and then slowly drop them (with closed hands) towards both sides.
6. Perform a left KAKE UKE and look to the left. Hook the wrist of your opponent and, while pulling all the way in, strike with a right NUKITE (2).
7. Move right foot 90° to KIBA DACHI, simultaneously both open both hands on your own shoulder heights, wrapped them around an imaginaring ball, and bring it slowly under water at your own belt level.
8. Scoope and slowly raise both open hands to the front of your own face, bringing both elbows together (close the armpit), and then slowly drop them (with closed hands) towards both sides.
9. Perform a right KAKE UKE and look to the right. Hook the wrist of your opponent and, while pulling all the way in, strike with a left NUKITE (3).
10. Perform a right MORO ASHI DACHI (start with taking back the right foot, move 45°), simultaneously taking the opponant’s hand all the way back with the right hand (with the intention of cutting down with left SHUTO on the taken hand). Then strike with right SEIKEN CHUDAN TSUKI with KIAI, while supporting the elbow on top with the left open hand.
11. Step back in right Zenkutsu DACHI, performing a left SHUTO JODON UKE, followed by a right HIJI UCHI (the fist palm is facing your own face).
12. Move 45° forward into a left KOKUTSU DACHI performing right UCHI UKE with a left SASAE UKE (augmented/supported wrist block).
13. Step in left KIBA DACHI, with left GEDAN BARAI (still looking in 45° direction).
14. Step back with left foot in right KIBA DACHI, with right GEDAN BARAI (still looking in 45° direction).
15. Turn in 90° in right KOKUTSU DACHI (pivoting on the right foot), performing left UCHI UKE with a right SASAE UKE (augmented/supported wrist block).
16. Step in right KIBA DACHI, with right GEDAN BARAI (still looking in 45° direction).
17. Step back with right foot in left KIBA DACHI, with left GEDAN BARAI (still looking in 45° direction).
18. Step back 135° with left foot in right KIBA DACHI and simultaneously slowly block right SHUTO JODAN UKE and attack left SHUTO GEDAN BARAI (is called Seienchin no Kamae).
19. Step back 180° with right foot in left KIBA DACHI (still looking in the same direction) and simultaneously slowly block left SHUTO JODAN UKE and attack right SHUTO GEDAN BARAI.
20. Step forward, close your right foot in Heisoku DACHI, and make a right SOTO UKE, and allign your left SHUTO hand with your right forearm. Step in further to the front in left MORE ASHI DACHI striking a right URAKEN with KIAI.
21. After a right cross-step turn 135° into a right SANCHIN DACHI with a left UCHI UKE / right GEDAN BARAI.
22. Slide forward in a right KIBA DACHI striking a right uppercut with KIAI, followed by a URAKEN (left hand in SHUTO block in the middle of the body) and finish with a right GEDAN BARAI. Step back 180° with right foot in left KIBA DACHI and simultaneously block left GEDAN BARAI.
23. Move back your right foot in a left KOKUTSU DACHI (135° change in direction) and perform a right HIJI UCHI (align the arm from below and then riaise). The HIJI UCHI is focusing on a person on the rear. The meaning of the front arm is to sweep the hands of a grabbing opponent upwards. While seeping up, you strike with the left to the rear.
24. Step back to a right KOKUTSU DACHI and perform a simulair left HIJI UCHI.
25. Turn your left foot 135° into a left SANCHIN DACHI with a right UCHI UKE / left GEDAN BARAI.
26. Slide forward in a left KIBA DACHI striking a left uppercut with KIAI, followed by an URAKEN (left hand in SHUTO block in the middle of the body) and finish with a left GEDAN BARAI. Step back 180° with left foot in right KIBA DACHI and simultaneously block right GEDAN BARAI.
27. Move back your left foot in a right KOKUTSU DACHI (135° change in direction) and perform a similar left HIJI UCHI.
28. Step back to a left KOKUTSU DACHI and perform a simulair right HIJI UCHI.
29. Step forward in a left MORE ASHI DACHI with a right URAKEN.
30. Step back right KOKUTSU DACHI and simultaneously perform a SHUTO HASAMI UKE with IBUKI. The Kata is completed on the command NAORE by moving the right foot back into MUSUBI DACHI and the MOKUSO position is retained, and with the command YASMEE the FUDO DACHI position is taken.
