Tsuki no Kata - Step by Step

# Explanation
1. Begin the Kata in FUDO DACHI. Move into MUSUBI DACHI and MOKUSO on the command MOKUSO. On the second command Tsuki no kata, open eyes, move into the Heiko Dachi position with IBUKI.

On the command HAJIME/ICHI move the right leg back at 45° clockwise into Kiba Dachi and block a left Gedan Barai then punch a right Chudan Gyaku Tsuki (these two actions are done in one movement).


2. Move forward with the right foot in a straight line into Kiba Dachi at 45° and punch a left Chudan Gyaku Tsuki.
3. Move the left foot forward into a left Sanchin Dachi and punch a right Chudan Gyaku Tsuki.
4. Move the right foot forward into a right Sanchin Dachi and punch a left Chudan Gyaku Tsuki.
5. Move forward with the left foot into a left Zenkutsu Dachi and punch a right Gedan Gyaku Tsuki.
6. Move forward with the right foot into a right Zenkutsu Dachi and punch a left Gedan Gyaku Tsuki followed by a right Chudan Oi Tsuki (the punches must be done fast).
7. Bring the right foot across and turn the body 180° anti-clockwise into left Sanchin Dachi and block left Uchi Uke and punch Chudan Oi Tsuki.
8. Keeping the right arm extended step forward into right Sanchin Dachi. and slowly block Uchi Uke.
9. In the same position slowly block Uchi Uke.
10. After the block immediately punch a left Chudan Gyaku Tsuki and a right Chudan Oi Tsuki (punches must be executed quickly).
11. Move forward into left Zenkutsu Dachi and punch a left Jodan Oi Tsuki.
12. Move forward into right Zenkutsu Dachi and punch a right Jodan Oi Tsuki.
13. Move the left foot across and turn 180° anti-clockwise into left Zenkutsu Dachi and block left Gedan Barai.
14. Kick right Jodan Mae Geri and bring the kicking leg back into Tsuru Ashi Dachi, pivot the hips 90° clockwise to the right into a right semi ZENKUTSU DACHI (ENOJI DACHI) and cover with the left hand in Shotei. Finish the movement into Kiba Dachi and punch right Jun Tsuki and KIAI (the hands are closed and the level of the striking arm is approximately at shoulder level and parallel to the ground).
15. Bring the left foot across into ENOJI DACHI (turning the body 90° clockwise), covering with the right hand in SHOTEI and finish the movement into Kiba Dachi (again turning the body 90° clockwise), punching left Yonhon Nukite (right hand is closed). Directly followed by a pivot the hips 90° clockwise to the right, turning in ENOJI DACHI and covering with the left hand in SHOTEI and finish the movement into Kiba Dachi (now turning the body 90° anti-clockwise to the left), punching right Yonhon Nukite (left hand is closed).
16. Bring the left foot across into ENOJI DACHI (turning the body 90° clockwise to the right), covering with the right hand in SHOTEI and finish the movement into Kiba Dachi (again turning the body 90° clockwise to the right), punching left Yonhon Nukite (both hands are open).
17. Bring the left foot to the right foot and slide back into right Zenkutsu Dachi and simultaneously block with right Chudan Uchi Uke and left Gedan Barai (these movements are executed slowly).
18. Slowly bring the right fist back into the ready punch position.
19. Punch right Jodan Oi Tsuki, left Gedan Gyaku Tsuki and right Chudan Oi Tsuki with KIAI (the Kiai continues throughout the punching sequence).
20. Bring the right foot back towards the left and then move the right foot into right Sanchin Dachi and block Shoto Mawashi Uke with Ibuki (the Ibuki is performed on the Shotei part of the Shoto Mawashi Uke).

The Kata is completed on the command NAORE by moving the right foot back into MUSUBI DACHI and the MOKUSO position is retained, and with the command YASMEE the FUDO DACHI position is taken.
